The Character of Doctor Badger is based on a real Doctor I had once. I sliced my thumb open real good and went to a near by emergency clinic. The doctor who saw my was defiantly drunk! The Son of a Bitch charged me twice what the bitch receptionist said it was going to cost to boot! If I had had one of those surgical steel curved needles I just would have sewn my own damn thumb up. In Roadkill Valley, home medicine is probably your best bet.
